Portfolio and Résumé
I’m a writer. It’s more a “who I am” than what I do. Subtle cracks in grammar pester me, like subject-noun disagreement and arbitrarily switching tenses. They hit me in the face like exploding water balloons. I pay attention to the details. I’ll call you out on that rogue apostrophe. I love the Oxford Comma and good writing is better with humor. I can also pitch the style guide and throw on the thinking cap.
A moment may be defined by its semantics. Each word counts; each should inspire. I pull stories from history, from language. My imagination crosses state lines. I seek new perspectives and subtle ironies. I explore the things I don’t know and I’ll always share my choices. I’m a photo-junkie, a music-hound, a dork of all things digital. I write short copy. I write long copy. I just write.
